This is a fantastic site! I'm so glad to have found it and be able to learn more of my family history! My name is Robynn Buchanan-Dinse and I'm the adopted daughter of Rodney Duane Backen and Alice Dorene Bockhahn. I thought I would help fill in some additional information. I have three children (Rodney's grandchildren) and they are:
Brandon Ray Buchanan, born 1988
Curtis Tyler Buchanan, born 1989
Peyton Riley Buchanan, born 1994
They are the sons of Jesse W. Buchanan and myself. We were divorced and I married Douglas J. Dinse in 1996, we are presently blissfully married. : )
My adopted sister, Angela Deneen Backen, has three children (sons) at last contact. I have lost touch with her over the years.
Dad passed away in the spring of 2008, my step mom Diane Underwood-Backen and I stay in touch as much as possible and she still resides in Colorado. Dad was my hero, lived life to the fullest and the last years of his life while married to Diane were the happiest I have ever known him to be.
