Cool. Our ancestors where on the same ship coming to America!!!

My ancestor was Mathias Foderath who on at least THREE different ocassions came to America. 1855, 1857, and 1868. He was passenger #329 with his granddaughter, Elise (Elisabaeth) age 16 as #330.

I found your blog by searching the SAXONIA in google looking for a picture of the ship and more info. Thanks for blogging about this. I have dowloaded copies of the NY Passenger list and the Germany Hamburg list if you don't have it. I tried to find a better copy of the ships register, but I don't think Ancestry has this. Pretty cool how we as strangers now have an awesome connection!
